About twenty demonstrators broke into the premises of the Association protesting against the playing of the match between France and Israel.
Pro-Palestinian activists broke into the premises of the French Football Federation (FFF) in Paris on Monday to protest against the organization of the “Les Blues” match against Israel on November 14 at the Stade de France as part of the League of Nations.
About twenty demonstrators stormed the premises of the FFF, protesting against the playing of the match.
Demonstrators sat in the hall of the Federation, in front of a display case with trophies, waving signs and banners “No match between France and Israel”, “Stop the genocide” and “Free Palestine”, while singing the song of the French resistance movement from the Second World War.
‘High Risk Match’
The activists stayed for about an hour, and after the meeting of two of their delegates with the head of the FFF was approved, they withdrew, Hina reported, referring to AFP.
The meeting between France and Israel is scheduled for November 14 at the Stade de France, and has been declared a “high-risk match”.
The first match was played on October 10 in Hungary, and the French won 4:1.
