The strongest winds will be along coastal areas, with gusts reaching 60-70 mph, while inland areas could experience gusts of 50-60 mph.
Winds will begin to ease on Sunday morning in the southwest, but may not calm until the evening in the southeast.”While it’s likely that the game against Southampton will go ahead, the weather could still affect the match.
Both teams, who are known for their footballing style, may be impacted by the conditions, but it won’t completely halt the game. Southampton’s manager, Arne Slot, faces multiple injury concerns, as does Russell Martin for Liverpool, so both coaches might welcome an extended break.
However, with a busy fixture schedule, it’s probable they’ll opt to play through the weather and injuries to avoid further disruption.
