Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, remarked that it will be very challenging to find another player like Toni Kroos, highlighting him as one of the greatest legends in football history.
Kroos decided to retire from football after the recent European Championship, concluding a career filled with numerous titles at both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Despite a strong performance the previous season and the potential to extend his career with Real Madrid, Kroos opted to retire and focus on spending quality time with his family.
Perez reflected on Kroos’s impact, stating, “It will be very difficult to see another player like him; he is one of the best players in our history.” He further added, “He is one of the greatest legends of world football. His farewell on May 25 was an emotional and unforgettable moment.”
In line with Perez’s sentiments, Real Madrid’s Italian coach, as reported by Marca, shares the view that the team’s current struggles are partly due to the absence of Kroos and the pivotal role he played within the squad.
