Solari asks Perez to sign a big deal: Don’t let him go to Barcelona

Santiago Solari has urged his former club, Real Madrid, to finalize a new deal that will benefit the team in the long term, according to Spanish media reports.

The former player and coach of Real Madrid, who now works alongside Juni Calafat in scouting new talents, has recommended to club president Florentino Pérez that they pursue a move for Antonio Cordero.

Solari believes that Cordero, an 18-year-old left winger currently with Málaga, would be a valuable addition to the team.

Cordero, who will become a free agent next summer, has rejected Málaga’s efforts to extend his contract, according to “Defensa Central.”

The young Spanish winger is attracting interest from several clubs across France, Portugal, and England, all eager to secure his signature. With Cordero valued at €2 million, second-division club Málaga may choose to sell him in January rather than risk losing him for free at the end of the season.
