Konaté, sidelined since November due to an injury sustained against Real Madrid, has been missed by Liverpool, who have conceded eight goals in four matches without him.
Earlier in the season, an Arsenal fan posted, “Rivalry aside, I hope Konaté’s injury is serious.” Following Saka’s injury, the same fan expressed frustration, prompting a Liverpool supporter to reply, “Karma is a b***h.” However, Konaté chose to defuse the situation with grace, tweeting, “We are not like them… we wish no harm. Anyway, In Sha Allah, big 3 pts today.” His dignified response ahead of Liverpool’s thrilling 6-3 victory over Tottenham won widespread admiration from fans.

In Konaté’s absence, Joe Gomez partnered with Virgil van Dijk in central defense against Spurs, helping to limit the hosts to just five shots on target despite the high-scoring encounter.
