Chelsea’s 2025 Club World Cup Schedule In Full: Opponents, Kick-Off Times & How To Watch

The full schedule for Chelsea’s participation in the 2025 Club World Cup has been revealed, including their Group D opponents.

Chelsea, led by Enzo Maresca, earned their place in the 32-team tournament by winning the 2021 UEFA Champions League, defeating Manchester City in the final held in Porto.

Next summer, Chelsea will travel to the United States to take part in this prestigious competition. According to the Daily Mail, the club stands to earn up to £60 million in participation fees, largely thanks to a lucrative broadcasting deal between FIFA and DAZN.

Reflecting on the challenging schedule ahead, Maresca commented, “As I’ve mentioned before, and others have also observed, there are a lot of matches to play. We’ll assess things in more detail as we get closer to May, June, or July and prepare for the tournament accordingly.”

On the upcoming group stage draw, he added, “I’m aware of the teams we will face in the group stage, but I don’t yet have specific details—like which players will play, how we’ll begin, or our tactical approach.

That will become clearer as the time draws near. For now, I only know our group opponents; beyond that, I don’t have any further information.”

It’s important to remember that Chelsea previously won the Club World Cup in February 2022 under former manager Thomas Tuchel, further solidifying their position in global football.

Key Information for Chelsea’s 2025 Club World Cup Journey:

Chelsea will compete in Group D, where they’ll face Flamengo, Club León, and Esperance Sportive de Tunis.
