A massive £200M bid is already on the table as the player struggles for form this season.

Arsenal is reportedly in talks with Celtic about a potential transfer that could see Kieran Tierney return to the Scottish club. The left-back, whose contract at Arsenal will not be extended, is set to leave as a free agent this summer.

However, Celtic is exploring the possibility of accelerating the move, with all sides open to an agreement.

Tierney, 27, made his first Arsenal appearance in 18 months during their League Cup win over Crystal Palace, following a season-long loan at Real Sociedad, where he played 26 matches.

Despite this, he has struggled to earn a regular spot in Arsenal’s starting lineup under Mikel Arteta, largely due to ongoing injury problems since his £25 million transfer from Celtic in 2019.

His time at Arsenal has been a mix of promise and setbacks, often hindered by fitness issues. During his earlier years at Celtic, Tierney emerged as one of Scotland’s top talents, helping the club secure eight major trophies and winning the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award three years in a row from 2016 to 2018.

Celtic’s interest in bringing him back is fueled by their strong position in the Scottish Premiership, where they currently lead by 11 points despite a recent loss to Rangers. The club is also in a good position to qualify for the Champions League, with key fixtures against Young Boys and Aston Villa ahead.

Under manager Brendan Rodgers, Celtic sees Tierney as an important addition to strengthen their defense as they pursue both domestic and European success.

Fabrizio Romano, a well-known transfer journalist, has confirmed that talks between Arsenal and Celtic are ongoing. Tierney is reportedly eager to return to his boyhood club, where he first rose through the academy ranks.

Celtic supporters are excited about the potential return of one of their former stars, hoping it will bolster the team’s dominance in Scotland and improve their European prospects.

If the move goes through, it would be a homecoming for Tierney, offering him an opportunity to revitalize his career and make a significant impact as Celtic pursues its goals under Rodgers. Both clubs are optimistic about reaching an agreement soon.
