“Please Let Me Go, My Old Teammates That Moved To Other Clubs Are Now Doing Well For Themselves. I Love Manchester United, I Really Do But I Can’t Continue With This Charade Knowing There Is No Stable Project At Old Trafford ” – Manchester United Are Shocked After Marcus Rashford Expressed His Desire To Leave The Club, With A Remarkable January Transfer To A Premier League Rival Now In The Works.

A shocking report suggests that Marcus Rashford has requested to leave Manchester United in January, with three potential destinations being explored, including a Premier League rival. The 26-year-old forward has struggled since last season, registering only eight goals and four assists in his last 41 league appearances, a stark contrast to his 17-goal, five-assist performance in the 2022/23 campaign.

Spanish outlet Nacional claims Rashford believes his dip in form is due to the lack of an “ambitious or stable project” at Old Trafford, which has led him to ask his agent to seek a move in January.

The report names Aston Villa, Napoli, and Marseille as clubs interested in signing Rashford. While a move to Aston Villa would be surprising, the club has become a competitive force under Unai Emery, currently leading the revamped Champions League.

Napoli, believed to be Rashford’s most likely destination, could offer him the opportunity to reunite with former teammates Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku, with manager Antonio Conte reportedly pushing for the move. Rashford would also have the chance to compete for Serie A titles, as Napoli currently tops the league.

Marseille is seen as the least likely option due to financial limitations that could hinder their ability to meet Manchester United’s demands. However, such a move would see Rashford rejoin former United teammate Mason Greenwood.

Though the reliability of the report is uncertain, TEAMtalk insider Fraser Gillan has confirmed that a departure for Rashford in 2025, or even as soon as January, is plausible. Additionally, clubs like PSG and Bayern Munich may also consider making a move if the opportunity arises, although United has not yet approved his exit.

In other transfer news, United is reportedly looking to outbid Real Madrid for Alphonso Davies, who is in the final year of his contract.

The club is also open to the possibility of a January loan for Antony, potentially sending him back to Ajax, while they are keeping an eye on teenage forward Geovany Quenda from Sporting CP.
