Jude Bellingham spoke to Realmadrid TV after Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Valencia, sharing his thoughts on the match.
“It was a crazy game. It’s really tough when the team is relying on you, and you miss a penalty. I felt like I had let the team down, and I was angry with myself,” Bellingham admitted.
Despite the miss, he praised his teammates for their support and efforts: “My teammates were amazing. For the equalizer, Brahim worked really hard, and Lucas found the space. It was a team effort.”
Bellingham also highlighted the importance of showing resilience: “We showed Real Madrid’s character with 10 men. We stood firm and secured three huge points in the fight for La Liga.”
Reflecting on his role in the team, Bellingham said, “I want to be a leader, and I showed that tonight. Scoring the winning goal is nice, but it’s more important that we performed as a team the way we did tonight.”
