Reports indicate that La Liga has accepted Barcelona’s argument that article 130 of the regulations does not apply in this case, as the players’ departure was caused by circumstances beyond the club’s control.
The decision now awaits confirmation from the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), which will make the final call. If approved, Olmo and Pau Víctor will be eligible to play for Barcelona right away.
However, La Liga has rejected Barcelona’s attempt to re-register Olmo and Pau Víctor.
