BARCELONA- I’ve agreed personal terms to join Barcelona but the transfer is on hold for now because I asked them to sell TWO players first

Barcelona is preparing for a major signing in the summer of 2025, focusing on two key targets. According to Fabrizio Romano, the club’s management is particularly impressed with Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams and AC Milan’s Rafael Leão.

Both players would strengthen Barcelona’s left wing, addressing a key area in their attack that has mainly relied on just three players: Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski.

Nico Williams was close to joining Barcelona last summer, and Rafael Leão’s agent, Jorge Mendes, shares a strong relationship with Barcelona president Joan Laporta, which could ease the potential deal.

Although it remains uncertain whether Barcelona will secure either Williams or Leão, these names are likely to surface often in the coming months as the transfer window approaches. With a new deal with Nike and a substantial cash boost on the horizon, Barcelona is poised to make a significant impact in the transfer market.
