Arsenal in Talks with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Šeško

Arsenal are reportedly in negotiations with RB Leipzig for a potential loan move for Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško.

The Gunners are said to be keen on securing the highly-rated 19-year-old on a loan deal with an option to buy, but Leipzig is reportedly holding out for a permanent transfer, demanding a substantial upfront fee or an obligation to purchase as part of the agreement.

Šeško has garnered interest from top clubs across Europe, thanks to his standout performances for Leipzig.

Known for his striking resemblance to Erling Haaland in terms of physicality, the young forward has impressed with his finishing ability.

Reports indicate that Šeško’s previous contract featured a release clause, but his new deal, signed last summer, included a gentleman’s agreement allowing the player to leave if an appropriate offer arrives.

This suggests Leipzig would be open to selling the striker for the right price, although they are looking to secure the best possible deal for the talented forward.
