Barcelona’s first goal of 2025 came from an unexpected source, as Eric Garcia scored in their Copa del Rey match against Barbastro. In the 21st minute, Garcia pounced on a header from Ronald Araujo and converted with a composed close-range finish.
This was Garcia’s first goal of the 2024/25 season and just his second-ever goal for Barcelona. The Blaugrana will look to add more goals against Barbastro to secure a strong victory as they begin the new year.
