LIVERPOOL-The latest Comfirm news – Done deal new defensive midfielder

With less than a week left in the January transfer window, Liverpool is monitoring the market for potential last-minute signings that could strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.

The Reds are in a strong position, sitting at the top of the Premier League and progressing well in the Champions League.

A 4-1 victory over newly-promoted Ipswich Town on Saturday kept them six points clear at the summit, despite Arsenal and Manchester City both winning. Liverpool also has a game in hand over their rivals.

Regarding Ajax defender Jorrel Hato, the player was spotted at Anfield during the Ipswich match, but his visit wasn’t related to a transfer. According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Hato was simply visiting his friend Ryan Gravenberch, who had invited him.

While Liverpool, along with Real Madrid, is reportedly keeping an eye on Hato’s progress, it appears no move is imminent. Ajax is reportedly keen to retain the 19-year-old, who is under contract until 2028.
