After Liverpool’s dramatic 2-2 draw with Manchester United on Sunday, Mohamed Salah’s social media post quickly grabbed the attention of fans at Anfield, as it appeared to contain a cryptic message regarding his ongoing contract situation.
Despite being heavy favorites going into the match due to their superior league position, manager Arne Slot and his team failed to secure all three points on home soil, facing their bitter rivals who are 12 spots below Liverpool in the Premier League standings.
Mohamed Salah, who matched Arsenal legend Thierry Henry’s Premier League goal record, scored in the 70th minute with a calm penalty conversion after Matthijs De Ligt’s handball. This gave Liverpool a 2-1 lead at the time.
