After Arsenal’s 2-0 loss (4-0 on aggregate) to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup, there have been significant injury updates.
Gabriel Martinelli sustained a muscle injury during the match and had to be substituted. His condition is currently being assessed, and an MRI will determine the full extent of his injury. His return date is unknown.
Ben White, who has been out since November due to a knee injury, is expected to return in February 2025, after undergoing surgery.
Bukayo Saka, recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in December, is still uncertain about his return. While Arteta has no clear timeline, it is hoped Saka will be back by March 2025.
Takehiro Tomiyasu continues to recover from a knee injury and his return date remains unknown.
Lastly, Gabriel Jesus, who suffered an ACL injury in the FA Cup against Manchester United, has undergone surgery. His expected return is in Summer 2025.
