Merino opened the scoring after an incredible assist from 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri. The teenager’s cross found Merino unmarked in the middle of the box, and the midfielder made no mistake with the header. A huge goal for Arsenal as they took the lead.
Despite a few struggles, Arsenal’s attacking depth, notably from Nwaneri and Merino, helped them stay in the title race. Arsenal now sits just four points behind Liverpool, with the title battle very much alive!
