Chelsea managed to come from behind to claim three crucial points in their match against West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.
Jarrod Bowen took advantage of a misplaced pass from Levi Colwill to put the visitors ahead just before halftime. Chelsea went into the break trailing but equalized early in the second half when Pedro Neto, who came on as a substitute, scored from close range after a blocked shot from Enzo Fernandez.
Soon after, Chelsea took the lead when Cole Palmer’s shot, deflected by Aaron Wan-Bissaka, went over Alphonse Areola and into the net. Despite not playing at their best, Chelsea held on to secure the win against their London rivals. Below, Bobby Vincent reviews the performances of the Chelsea players in the match.
