A football fan has suggested that Kylian Mbappe and Rodrygo tend to underperform when Vinicius Jr. is on the field for Real Madrid.
This claim follows Real Madrid’s mixed results—strong victories over Real Valladolid (3-0) and Brest (3-0) in La Liga and the Champions League, respectively, but a surprising 1-0 loss to Espanyol.
Vinicius was absent for the wins but played in the defeat against Espanyol, during which Mbappe and Rodrygo, who had scored five goals in the previous games, failed to find the net.
The fan shared an infographic to support their argument, stating, “I think I see the problem with Real Madrid.”
Some rival fans chimed in, with one expressing amusement when seeing Vinicius in the lineup, while another pointed out that although Vinicius is already a club legend, he has struggled in recent matches and needs to improve his form and chemistry with the team.
Despite these concerns, the statistic might be misleading due to the small sample size.
Vinicius, Mbappe, and Rodrygo have had a strong partnership this season, already winning two trophies, so it would be premature to judge their overall performance based on just a few games.
