Jurgen Klopp has harshly criticized Federico Chiesa following Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat to Plymouth in the FA Cup, stating that the Italian winger should consider leaving the club.

Watching the game from his apartment, Klopp did not hold back, asserting that Chiesa’s poor performance made it clear he has no future at Liverpool.

Klopp, who played a pivotal role in shaping one of the most successful teams in Liverpool’s history, pointed out that Chiesa’s display was disastrous. The winger struggled to beat defenders, misplaced passes, and lacked any significant attacking threat.

His lack of shots, even fewer than the goalkeeper, was a further embarrassment, leaving fans questioning his place in the squad.

Signed for £30 million with expectations of adding creativity and dynamism to Liverpool’s attack, Chiesa has so far failed to meet those standards. Klopp’s comments reflect the growing frustration from both fans and club management, with many now calling for the player’s departure.

Even Arne Slot, Klopp’s successor, has expressed his discontent with Chiesa, signaling that his struggles may not be an isolated issue.

With Liverpool competing on multiple fronts, there’s little room for underperforming players, and Chiesa’s future looks uncertain. Klopp’s scathing criticism could be the catalyst that pushes the board to make a decision on the winger’s future at Anfield.
