Paul Pogba has confirmed that he has received multiple offers from clubs as he prepares to return to one of Europe’s top leagues.
The 31-year-old midfielder, who previously played for Manchester United and Juventus, became a free agent in November after ending his contract with Juventus, following an 18-month suspension for a banned substance imposed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Pogba, who last played in September 2023, will be eligible to resume competitive football in March and has been free to sign with a new club since January. In a recent chat with Twitch streamer Amine, Pogba shared that he’s in talks for his return but is only interested in joining a top team.
“There are offers. Some are interesting, some not so interesting,” Pogba said. “Going to play in Russia is not the objective. To play for a team in the Champions League? We always want the best clubs, but it’s not just up to me. There are discussions. It’s being finalized. I can’t say any more.”
Although Pogba hinted that an agreement may be close, ESPN reports that talks are still ongoing. However, it’s believed he has offers from clubs in Europe’s top five leagues.
