William Saliba has admitted that while Arsenal are performing well this season, securing trophies is the ultimate goal. The Gunners are currently second in the Premier League, having won 13 of their 23 matches, with only two losses.

Under Mikel Arteta, the team has scored 44 goals and conceded 21, sitting six points behind league leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.

Arsenal has also been impressive in the UEFA Champions League, ranking third after seven matches. With five wins and one loss, they are close to qualifying for the knockout stages. Their next Champions League match is against Girona on Wednesday, January 29.

However, Arsenal was eliminated from the FA Cup in the Third Round by Manchester United after a penalty shootout earlier this month, and they are currently trailing 2-0 in their EFL Cup semifinal against Newcastle United, with the second leg scheduled for next week.
