Barcelona has set a specific condition for Neymar if they are to consider re-signing him in the upcoming transfer window. According to the Catalan newspaper Sport, Neymar has been given a final deadline by Barcelona officials amid rumors of a potential return. The Brazilian star is reportedly keen to rejoin Barcelona in the summer and is even willing to accept a lower salary to prepare for the 2026 World Cup.

The report, which is closely linked to Barcelona’s management, stated that the club has communicated to Neymar: “Score 15 goals with Santos first, and then we will consider your signing.”

Additionally, German coach Hansi Flick has given Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, the go-ahead to initiate talks with Neymar, but only if he fulfills the condition of scoring 15 goals with Santos by the end of the current season.

Neymar, who rejoined Santos in January after a brief stint with Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal due to injury issues, has scored three goals in seven games. His contract with the Brazilian club expires in June. Neymar had previously won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2015 before making a record-breaking €222 million move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
