Liverpool are reportedly preparing for a massive offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal for Dominik Szoboszlai, with the proposed “astronomical figure” expected to be too tempting for Liverpool’s owners, FSG, to decline.

According to Spanish media reports, Al Hilal is set to offer €120 million (£99.1m, $125.6m) for the Hungarian star, who has been in excellent form since joining Liverpool.

Szoboszlai’s future at Anfield is now in question, with Fichajes claiming that such a substantial bid could force Liverpool to sell, especially considering the huge profit they would make from his transfer. The 24-year-old would be offered a lucrative deal, and the financial muscle of Saudi football is making it increasingly difficult for European clubs to resist offers from the Middle East.

Despite Liverpool’s strong position this season, currently sitting atop the Premier League and preparing for a Champions League tie against PSG, concerns remain over the futures of key players like Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk, who are all out of contract at the end of the season. With Szoboszlai’s value soaring, his potential move could have significant implications for Liverpool’s transfer strategy and squad planning.
