Elliott, who joined from Fulham in 2019, has struggled for game time this season under new manager Arne Slot. The 22-year-old has started only four matches in all competitions and is yet to make a Premier League start. He came off the bench during Liverpool’s recent 3-2 loss to Fulham — the club where his senior career began.
Slot has acknowledged that Elliott is “frustrated” with his limited minutes, though the player has stayed positive publicly. Despite his eagerness to earn a regular spot in the starting XI, he’s found it difficult to displace players like Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones.
