**LIVERPOOL’S BIG OPPORTUNITY: £67.4 Million Bid for Rising Star!**

With a Dutch manager now leading Liverpool, it’s no surprise that their scouting efforts in the Netherlands might expand.

Liverpool already boasts two top Dutch players—Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch. Another major Dutch talent on the radar is Xavi Simons, a standout from his time at PSV Eindhoven and RB Leipzig. The 21-year-old, currently contracted to PSG and playing on loan at Leipzig, has attracted interest from several elite clubs, including Liverpool.

Despite Liverpool’s interest, journalist Yvonne Gabriel from *Bild* reports that Simons preferred to remain in the Bundesliga. The young star is valued at £67.4 million.

Bundesliga expert Christian Falk named Simons alongside Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala as standout young talents, calling them “jewels.” Falk also confirmed Liverpool’s admiration for Simons, noting that unlike Wirtz, Simons is more inclined to move to the Premier League. He hinted that Simons could be among the big names changing clubs next year.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano also weighed in, predicting that Simons is likely to leave PSG in summer 2025. While no deal has been struck yet with Liverpool or any other club, his future appears to lie away from Paris.

Liverpool may still make a move, and new coach Arne Slot could play a key role in convincing Simons that Anfield is the perfect next step. In Slot’s system, Simons could be a natural fit, either pushing Dominik Szoboszlai for the attacking midfield role or offering a higher goal threat from that position.

As of now, Simons’ next destination remains uncertain, but Liverpool fans will be hoping he chooses the red of Merseyside.
