Roy Keane caught Gary Neville off guard with a surprising prediction ahead of Liverpool’s visit to Fulham on Sunday.
Fresh from their Merseyside derby win, Liverpool will head to Craven Cottage looking to maintain their dominant form. With a 12-point lead at the top of the Premier League and just eight matches remaining, many believe the title is theirs to lose. However, Keane has thrown a wrench into that narrative.

During a segment on *The Overlap*, Keane predicted a shock 2-1 win for Fulham. Neville, who was initially leaning toward a Liverpool win before settling on a 2-2 draw, was visibly stunned by Keane’s take, reacting off-camera with a surprised, “Really?…Wow!”
Interestingly, fellow pundit Jamie Carragher also expects Liverpool to drop points, forecasting a draw in the capital.
Fulham are enjoying a solid season and remain in the hunt for a potential European spot. But they’ve struggled since the international break, losing to both Crystal Palace and Arsenal. Liverpool, on the other hand, have rebounded strongly from their Carabao Cup final loss and remain unbeaten in the league since mid-September.
The Reds did draw with Fulham at Anfield earlier this season, although that match was affected by an early red card to Andy Robertson. Sunday’s clash is expected to be tough, but it’s the kind of challenge title-contending teams must overcome.
If Liverpool can pull off a win and prove the doubters wrong, especially Keane, their path to Premier League glory — and a potential celebration at Anfield in May — will look even more certain.
