Julien Duranville charged down the right wing and delivered a cross that found Araujo. Instead of clearing it, the Barcelona defender misplayed the ball directly into the path of Serhou Guirassy, who capitalized on the mistake and scored in the 76th minute, extending Dortmund’s lead to 3-1.
Supporters didn’t hold back, criticizing Araujo for the blunder and joking that he had essentially ‘assisted’ the goal.
