Barcelona Targets PSG’s Bradley Barcola Amid Transfer Buzz

Ahead of their Champions League semifinal against Inter Milan, Barcelona are showing strong interest in Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, reports El Nacional.

The 22-year-old French talent, who shined early this season after Kylian Mbappé’s exit, has seen less game time due to new signings like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and the emergence of Ousmane Dembélé and Desire Doue. Despite contributing 18 goals and 17 assists in all competitions, Barcola is no longer a regular starter under Luis Enrique.

Seeking a fresh start, Barcola has asked his agent Jorge Mendes to initiate talks with Barça president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco. He reportedly sees La Liga as a fitting next chapter in his career.

New Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is reportedly a big fan of Barcola and considers him a potential replacement for Raphinha, whose status with the team is still uncertain. Discussions between Mendes and the Barça board have already begun.

However, the transfer won’t come cheap—PSG are asking for €80 million, almost double what they paid Lyon. While Barcelona are being careful with their spending, Flick’s support for the move could sway the club’s decision.
