Liverpool handed potential advantage as “underrated” Real Madrid star considers future
Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes is reportedly reassessing his future, potentially opening the door for clubs like Liverpool to make a move.
The Brazilian international, known for his high-level performances, has struggled to maintain consistency lately and is no longer guaranteed a regular starting spot at the Bernabeu.
According to Marca, this uncertainty has led Rodrygo to consider a possible transfer, which will no doubt alert several top European sides.
Rodrygo eyeing exit – which clubs could be interested?
While still celebrated for his talent—he famously kissed the Real badge in celebration—Rodrygo could now be tempted by a move to a new league, with the Premier League a likely destination.
Todo Fichajes recently linked Liverpool with the 24-year-old, and Fichajes has also suggested Arsenal might be in the mix. Both clubs are expected to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements this summer, though no formal discussions have been reported yet.
A missed opportunity for Madrid?
Rodrygo has previously been praised by Jude Bellingham, who called him an “underrated” figure in the Real Madrid squad. Letting him go might be a decision Los Blancos come to regret.
For Arsenal, Rodrygo could provide the clinical edge up front they’ve lacked at times. Liverpool, meanwhile, might see him as a valuable addition, potentially offering an improvement over the likes of Darwin Núñez or the often-injured Diogo Jota.
If Real Madrid want to keep hold of the Brazilian, they may need to give him more playing time soon—otherwise, they risk empowering a direct European rival
