Jeremie Frimpong, who has a €40 million release clause, is attracting interest from Liverpool, who are considering him as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold following the latter’s announced departure.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Frimpong’s release clause will remain active this summer, and the overall deal is expected to be in the range of €35-40 million.
Frimpong, under contract with Leverkusen until June 2028, joined the Bundesliga club in 2023 for €11 million from Celtic. This season, he has made 46 appearances across all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 9 assists.
