Barcelona’s Comeback Win Over Real Madrid Sparks Yamal’s Dig at Bellingham

Barcelona edged out Real Madrid in a dramatic 4-3 El Clasico victory, moving within two points of clinching the La Liga title. The win came after a challenging week that saw them eliminated from the Champions League by Inter Milan. Despite going 2-0 down early due to two goals from Kylian Mbappe, Barca roared back, eventually leading 4-2 before Mbappe added a third late on.

The game wasn’t without controversy—a late goal by Fermin Lopez was disallowed after a VAR review, prompting some in Spain to demand an explanation.

In the aftermath, 17-year-old Lamine Yamal subtly called out Jude Bellingham. After Inter’s win over Barcelona, Bellingham had liked a social media post by Alessandro Bastoni. In response, Yamal posted celebration photos on Instagram with the caption “like this one too,” clearly aimed at those who had supported Inter, including Bellingham and Sergio Ramos.

Yamal scored one of the goals in the win, alongside Eric Garcia and Raphinha, who bagged a brace. His performance, and cheeky social media jab, drew supportive comments from teammates and coach Hansi Flick, who praised the team’s resilience after a tiring week.

With only three La Liga games left—against Espanyol, Villarreal, and Athletic Club—Barcelona is closing in on their 35th league title.
