**Laporta Planning “Deal of the Century” Surprise for Hansi Flick with Alexander Isak Target**

Fresh off securing their 28th La Liga title, Barcelona are already looking ahead—with club president Joan Laporta reportedly preparing a massive surprise for incoming manager Hansi Flick: a future move for Newcastle star Alexander Isak.

After defeating local rivals Espanyol 2-0, Barcelona clinched the title with 85 points—seven ahead of Real Madrid—with only two matches left to play. With the league sealed, Laporta has turned his focus to the transfer market.

According to *El Nacional*, Laporta sees Swedish striker Alexander Isak as the ideal long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski. He believes Isak’s goal-scoring prowess, versatility, and technical style make him a perfect fit for the Barcelona system and a key figure for the club’s future.

While the club acknowledges that a move for Isak in the current transfer window is highly unlikely due to financial constraints and Newcastle’s strong position, Laporta has developed a longer-term vision. The plan is to position Barcelona for a 2026 transfer, when Lewandowski’s expected departure would free up salary space and open a spot in the attack.

Laporta has already tasked sporting director Deco with prioritizing Isak and laying the groundwork for a future bid. Despite the current challenges, Laporta views this move as the “deal of the century”—a transformative signing that could define the next era of Barcelona’s front line.
