Ronan Murphy, a Bundesliga expert with Football Transfers, shared his insight with Anfield Watch, stating:
“There are compelling reasons for Wirtz to choose Bayern, but the €150 million price tag is a major hurdle. Bayern would need to move players like Kingsley Coman or Sacha Boey, who might not attract significant fees.”
He added that Liverpool’s ability to buy Wirtz outright gives them a distinct advantage.
