Chelsea Eye €145M Attacking Duo for 2025–26 Season

Chelsea are reportedly in talks to strengthen their left wing ahead of the 2025–26 campaign, targeting AC Milan’s Rafael Leão and Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho. Sources suggest both players are high on the Blues’ wishlist, with valuations of €75 million for Leão and €70 million for Garnacho.

The club has resumed discussions with Garnacho’s representatives after a failed move in January, and they’ve also made informal contact regarding Leão. The duo enjoyed strong seasons—Leão contributing to 25 goals and Garnacho to 21.

This pursuit comes at a time of uncertainty in Chelsea’s winger department. Mykhailo Mudryk is currently suspended over a doping issue, while Jadon Sancho has not lived up to expectations. With rival clubs like Arsenal also eyeing similar targets, Chelsea may face tough competition.

Under new head coach Enzo Maresca, Chelsea are planning a significant squad revamp, including moves for a striker and a central defender. Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Manchester City’s Liam Delap are being considered for the front line, while Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi and Juventus’ Dean Huijsen are being monitored for defensive roles.

A potential Europa Conference League final win on May 28 against Real Betis could secure Champions League qualification and bolster Chelsea’s ability to attract top talent.
