Barcelona Set to Push Hard for Luis Díaz as Hansi Flick Approves Move – Reports
According to Joaquim Piera of Diario Sport, FC Barcelona are preparing to make a serious effort to sign Luis Díaz from Liverpool this summer.
Sporting director Deco has long admired Díaz as the perfect option for the left wing, even as the club also pursued Nico Williams. Now, new head coach Hansi Flick has reportedly given the go-ahead for the club to fully pursue the Colombian star.
The 28-year-old winger, who had a strong season with 17 goals and 8 assists, is said to be eager to join the Catalan side. While his transfer fee is expected to be around €75 million, his salary demands won’t pose an issue for Barça.
Barcelona view Díaz as a key addition for their 2025/26 squad under Flick’s leadership.
