**Barcelona Reaches Agreement to Sell Fermin López to Inter Milan for €60 Million**

Barcelona and Inter Milan are once again linked—this time not on the pitch, but at the negotiating table. Following their intense Champions League semi-final showdown, the Italian champions are now closing in on a major signing from the Catalan giants.

According to *Mundo Deportivo*, citing *Calciomercato*, Inter Milan has targeted **Fermin López** as the ideal replacement for 36-year-old **Henrikh Mkhitaryan**, whose contract with the Nerazzurri runs until 2026. The 22-year-old Spanish midfielder is seen as a top priority in Inter’s plans to rejuvenate their squad ahead of the new season.

Although no official bid has been submitted yet, Barcelona is reportedly open to selling López and has **set a €60 million asking price**.

With the club facing Financial Fair Play pressures and a tight wage structure, Barcelona is focusing this summer on renewing key contracts rather than making expensive signings. In this context, López—despite not being a regular starter under **Hansi Flick**—has become one of the club’s most valuable assets for a potential sale.

His standout performances off the bench have drawn attention, and Barça now views a sale as a strategic move to bring in much-needed funds.

The deal, if completed, would mark a significant chapter for both clubs—Inter securing a promising young talent, and Barcelona making a tough but financially vital decision.
