Trent Alexander-Arnold’s farewell message to teammates and parting gift unveiled

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s goodbye speech and Liverpool farewell gift revealed
Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold delivered a heartfelt farewell speech to his teammates during his final training session with the club, where he also received a parting gift. The 26-year-old confirmed on May 5 that he will not renew his contract with Liverpool and is expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

If selected by new manager Arne Slot, Sunday’s match against Crystal Palace at Anfield will be his last game in a Liverpool jersey. Although some fans jeered him during the team’s previous home game, his teammates and former manager Jurgen Klopp have shown strong support in response to the criticism.

Team captain Virgil van Dijk, one of the many who have publicly defended Alexander-Arnold, led a tribute during training on Friday, as seen on Liverpool’s YouTube channel. “Trent,” Van Dijk began, “We all knew this moment would come. On behalf of everyone, thank you for everything you’ve done. The success we’ve shared, the memories on and off the field—you’ll truly be missed.”
