Alejandro Garnacho Offers Himself to Liverpool Amid Uncertain Future at Manchester United: Reports
According to reports from Spanish outlet DefensaCentral, relayed by DaveOCKOP, Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has been offered to several top European clubs, including Liverpool. The Argentine’s camp is actively seeking a new club following indications that he’s not part of United manager Ruben Amorim’s future plans. Financial pressures and off-field issues have reportedly led the club to consider selling him.
Garnacho was left out of the squad for United’s final Premier League match, which ended in a controversial 2-0 victory over Aston Villa, securing a disappointing 15th-place finish. Despite being a bright spot with 11 goals and 10 assists in 58 games this season, Garnacho could be on his way out, with his agent prioritizing a potential move to Real Madrid. Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid, and Liverpool have also been approached.
Previously linked to Chelsea and Napoli during the January transfer window, Garnacho is valued at around £60 million. Since joining United from Atlético Madrid in 2020, he has made 144 appearances for the club.
In a related development, Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, a player also on Liverpool’s radar. Semenyo has had an impressive season with 13 goals and seven assists, making him an appealing option for both clubs.
