Juliano Belletti to Become Barca Atletic Coach After Successful Season – Reports

According to Mundo Deportivo, Juliano Belletti is expected to be officially named the new head coach of Barca Atletic following an impressive year in charge of Juvenil A. Under his leadership, the youth team won the UEFA Youth League, the domestic league, and the Copa del Rey, only missing out on the Copa de Campeones.

Despite the club’s recent drop to the Segunda RFEF, several standout players from Belletti’s youth squad are likely to follow him to the reserve team. Among them are teenage forwards Toni Fernandez and Guille Fernandez, who made waves in the Primera RFEF with 9 and 6 goals respectively. Still, some players could be loaned out to gain experience at higher levels.

Belletti has already met with sporting figures like Deco and Bojan Krkić, and remains in close contact with youth football head José Ramón Alexanko. While a few administrative details are still being worked out, they don’t concern his qualifications—Belletti already holds UEFA B and A coaching licenses and will begin his UEFA Pro course in August, necessary for managing at this leve.
