BREAKING: Manchester United Close to Signing 25-Year-Old Midfielder with 40 G/A – Agent Arrives at Carrington

According to Fabrizio Romano, the agent of a 25-year-old creative midfielder—who registered an impressive 40 goals and assists across all competitions this season—is currently at Manchester United’s Carrington training complex to finalize a four-year deal. The player has reportedly rejected offers from Chelsea and Liverpool to join the Red Devils.

Liam Delap Chooses Chelsea Over Premier League Rivals

Meanwhile, Liam Delap is expected to turn down moves to Everton, Manchester United, and Newcastle United in favor of signing with Chelsea. The Ipswich Town striker is eager to reunite with Enzo Maresca, his former coach at Manchester City.

Delap’s choice appears to be influenced by Manchester United’s failure to qualify for any European competitions, giving Chelsea a clear path to activate his £30 million release clause.

Mbeumo Now a Top Target for Manchester United

Missing out on Delap could benefit United in other ways. Reports suggest this opens the door for them to sign Bryan Mbeumo, a standout performer for Brentford. The Cameroonian winger, who just completed a breakthrough season by scoring over 20 goals, is widely expected to leave this summer.

Brentford originally signed Mbeumo from Troyes for £5.8 million in 2019. Now, they reportedly value him between £50-60 million, a significant return on investment.

Thomas Frank, Brentford’s manager, has admitted the club would be open to selling Mbeumo for the right price, emphasizing that Brentford is “a selling club.”
