BREAKING: The agent of a 25-year-old creative midfielder—who has recorded an impressive 40 goals and assists this season—is currently at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground to finalize a four-year deal. The player reportedly turned down offers from both Chelsea and Liverpool. (Confirmed by Fabrizio Romano)

Meanwhile, Liam Delap is expected to reject interest from Everton, Manchester United, and Newcastle United, opting instead to join Chelsea. His decision is influenced by a potential reunion with Enzo Maresca, his former coach at Manchester City. United’s failure to qualify for European competition may have played a role in losing out on Delap, allowing Chelsea to trigger his £30 million release clause unopposed.

Manchester United Shifts Focus to Bryan Mbeumo
Missing out on Delap may actually benefit United, who are now reportedly more likely to secure Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo. The versatile Cameroonian attacker—who just had his best season with over 20 goals—is attracting strong interest. Brentford, who signed him for £5.8 million in 2019, now value him at £50–60 million.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has admitted the club is open to selling Mbeumo if the right offer comes in, acknowledging the club’s role as a seller in the transfer market.
