Liverpool’s 26-year-old goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher has told the club he wants regular first-team action and plans to leave this summer. The Reds have placed a valuation slightly above £20 million on him and, with Giorgi Mamardashvili arriving from Valencia, they’re open to discussions.
Brentford have already submitted a formal enquiry, considering Kelleher as a potential replacement for Mark Flekken, who is expected to join Bayer Leverkusen.
West Ham and Leeds United are also keeping a close eye on the situation in case Brentford don’t follow through.
