Liverpool have submitted a formal bid to Bayer Leverkusen for their star midfielder Florian Wirtz, reportedly offering £100 million upfront, with an additional £10–12 million in performance-related add-ons. This brings the total potential value of the deal to approximately €130.5 million to €133 million.

Given that the two clubs are relatively close in their valuation of the player, the gap between their expectations is not substantial. As a result, negotiations are expected to progress swiftly, and a final agreement could be reached in the near future. This suggests that Liverpool are serious about securing Wirtz’s services and that Leverkusen may be open to completing the deal soon
