Microphones picked up a conversation between Raul Asencio and Luka Modric after Real Madrid was awarded a penalty during their match against Real Sociedad.

Luka Modric possibly played his final match for Real Madrid against Real Sociedad over the weekend.
During the first half, Real Madrid was awarded a penalty, which Kylian Mbappe initially missed, but he quickly scored on the rebound.
While the penalty decision was under VAR review, Raul Asencio spoke to Modric.
Asencio asked Modric: “Why don’t you take the penalty?”
Modric replied: “No, Kylian needs it for the Golden Boot.”
He then encouraged Mbappe to take the shot.
Modric was the first to celebrate once Mbappe finally converted the penalty.
Mbappe ended the La Liga season with 31 goals, earning not only the top scorer title but also the European Golden Boot.
Modric leaves Real Madrid with dignity, having been a model professional and a great teammate throughout his time at the club.
