According to reports, Liverpool are highly likely to offload Kostas Tsimikas this summer—a move that could clear the way for the arrival of Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez.
Reliable sources, including Fabrizio Romano, have noted that Liverpool are in ongoing discussions to secure Kerkez’s signature during the transfer window.
Romano recently shared an update suggesting that a deal for the Hungarian full-back is progressing.
Adding to that momentum, journalist Lewis Steele has stated there’s a strong chance—estimated at 80-85%—that Tsimikas will depart Anfield in the coming months. Steele discussed the likelihood of the Greek defender’s exit during a recent YouTube appearance.
A Left-Back Shakeup at Liverpool?
Steele commented:
“There’s been a lot of talk about Tsimikas potentially leaving, and I’d say there’s an 80–85% chance it happens this summer.
While he hasn’t been outstanding, he’s become a fan favorite and is well-liked within the squad. But if Liverpool bring in Kerkez, this feels like the right time for a change.”
Kerkez Could Be a Strong Addition
Kerkez, who’s impressed at Bournemouth, could be a long-term upgrade at left-back, with Andrew Robertson also facing increased competition.
