Alejandro Garnacho Reportedly Agrees to Join Arsenal in Principle
May 31, 2025 – In a surprising twist in the transfer market, Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to join Arsenal on a five-year deal worth €120,000 per week. The move marks a major shift for the Manchester United winger and signals Arsenal’s continued ambition to strengthen under Mikel Arteta.
Sources suggest the talks were initiated by Garnacho’s representatives after a key conversation between the player and new United manager Ruben Amorim. Amorim, said to be unimpressed with Garnacho’s attitude and inconsistent performances, advised him to explore other opportunities.
Previously seen as a key figure in United’s future, Garnacho resisted a move in January to fight for his place. But with United missing out on European football and preparing for a major rebuild, his departure now seems inevitable.
