Liverpool have stunned the football world by making a formal offer to Paris Saint-Germain for French rising star Désiré Doué — a move that could become one of the standout deals of the summer.
As reported by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League giants have officially submitted a bid for the 19-year-old talent, who recently made headlines with a historic performance in the Champions League final against Inter Milan, scoring twice.
“Liverpool have sent PSG an official bid for Désiré Doué,” Romano posted on X. “They’re serious about landing him, viewing him as a generational talent. The fee could rise above €95 million with bonuses.”
Doué, who idolizes Neymar like Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, dazzled fans at the Allianz Arena with two composed finishes. His record-breaking performance included:
