Neville Stands Firm on Arsenal Title Hopes

Gary Neville has once again placed his faith in Arsenal to clinch the Premier League title in the upcoming season, marking the third consecutive year he’s made this bold prediction—even though the Gunners have yet to fulfill his expectations.

Speaking on the It’s Called Soccer podcast, Neville reaffirmed his support: “I’ve got to stick with Arsenal. I’ve chosen them the last two years. They’ve come close, finishing second three times, and I still think they have what it takes.”

Though he initially backed Manchester City three seasons ago, Neville has since shifted his loyalty to Arsenal and has remained steadfast in his belief despite their continued near-misses.

In the most recent 2024/25 season, it was Liverpool who ended up lifting the Premier League trophy, securing the title with four games to spare—leaving Arsenal just short once again
