Prosecutors Seek Four-Year Prison Sentence and €58,000 Fine for Real Madrid Star
The legal proceedings involving Raul Asencio, a 22-year-old defender for Real Madrid, continue. Asencio denies all allegations, insisting on his innocence. However, he faces serious accusations, including the unauthorized sharing of sexual content and the distribution of child pornography.

The prosecution is demanding a four-year prison term and a €58,000 fine, intended to compensate for the victims’ emotional distress, temporary injuries, and PTSD.

After remaining silent for some time, Asencio published an open letter in May 2025 denying the allegations and urging respect for the presumption of innocence—that he is innocent until proven guilty.
In his letter, he emphasized:
“I would like to reiterate, once again, my absolute respect for the rights to sexual freedom and privacy of all women.”
